EV plans charge less during set overnight hours, so you need a smart meter. Check yours has been upgraded before you switch.

*Cost per 100 km uses 16 kWh per 100 km, a cautious figure for a Tesla in Irish driving. Discounts, standing charges, and contract terms change what you really pay, so read the full plan before switching.
How EV plans work
Match the window to your driving
A 7.4 kW charger adds roughly 46 km an hour. A two-hour window adds about 90 km a night and a four-hour window about 185 km, which matters if you drive a lot.
Standing charges count
Some EV plans carry a higher standing charge. If you drive little, a cheaper EV rate can be cancelled out by the higher fixed charge.
Discounts end
Introductory discounts usually last 12 months. Put a reminder in your calendar to compare again before the discount runs out.
