Public pages show only a masked version of a queued owner's code, with model, county, plan and status. We never publish email addresses. A paid owner's full referral link is used as the destination when a buyer opens the referral route.
Who processes it for us
- Vercel: website hosting and logs.
- GitHub: listing records, kept in a private repository.
- Stripe: payments. Stripe also acts as a controller for card and fraud data under its own privacy policy.
- Resend and Google Workspace: sending and receiving email.
- Telegram: private alerts to the operator when a listing or quote request arrives.
- Installers you choose: if you ask for quotes and pick installers, they receive your name, contact details and what you need, and handle it under their own privacy notices.
- Google Analytics and PostHog (EU hosting): analytics, only after you accept.
Some of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States. Those transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
- Listing details: while your listing exists and for 12 months after it ends, so we can answer questions about it.
- Quote requests: 12 months, then deleted. Ask any time and we delete it sooner.
- Payment and invoice records: six years, as Irish tax law requires.
- Emails: up to two years after the last message, unless needed for a dispute.
- Analytics: up to 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, deletion, restriction, a portable copy, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email john@teslareferral.ie, and we reply within one month. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time with the cookie settings link at the foot of every page. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie, 21 Fitzwilliam Square South, Dublin 2, D02 RD28.
Cookies and similar storage
The site counts page views in aggregate with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies or device storage and cannot identify you. The site sets no analytics cookies unless you accept them in the cookie banner. Rejecting them does not change what you can use.

Stripe's payment pages are on stripe.com and set their own cookies for payments and fraud prevention.
Children
The site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this notice changes in a way that matters, we update the date at the top and email paid owners.
